Your first month

From one note to a steady routine.

When you live hundreds of miles away, the hardest part is not knowing. This is how we close that distance, one simple step at a time.

You do not need to be there. Many families are hundreds of miles away.

  1. Your note

Tell us about your parent’s home, the best way to reach you, and anything we should know.

  2. A real conversation

Our office calls you, and your parent too if you would like, to understand the routine, access, pets and preferences.

  3. Eyes on the home

If nobody knows the current condition, we start with a standard cleaning at our standard rate, assess the home while we are there, and send you photos and an honest read on what it needs.

  4. The first cleaning

Your parent meets a friendly, background-checked cleaner. You see the visit in your dashboard and hear how it went.

  5. A steady rhythm

Weekly, every other week or monthly, with the same cleaner or team whenever possible and regular check-ins from our office.

Discreet billing and account management

Billing that never lands on their kitchen table.

Your card, on file

Billing goes to the family member who manages it, never to your parent’s mailbox.

Invoices in your inbox

A clear record of every visit, sent to you by email.

Two sets of contacts

We save your contact and your parent’s separately, so the right person hears the right things.

Message the office anytime

Change a date, add a request or ask a question from wherever you are.

A gentle start

How to bring it up with your parent.

Many parents worry about a stranger in the house or feel embarrassed about the state of things. A few ideas that tend to help:

  1. Keep them in charge

Let your parent choose the day, the rooms and what matters most. They are the customer, not the project.

  2. Start small

One visit, or just the kitchen and bathrooms. Comfort comes before a full routine.

  3. Make it about your peace of mind

“It would help me worry less” often lands better than “you need help.”

  4. Same friendly face

We work to keep the same cleaner with each home, so a stranger becomes a familiar visitor.

Questions

Questions from families far away.

Can I set up and pay for cleaning for my parent from another state?

Yes. Many of our clients live outside Florida. You can keep your own card on file, receive invoices by email and manage the account from your dashboard while your parent simply enjoys a clean home.

How will I know the cleaning actually happened?

Your dashboard shows each upcoming and completed visit and who cleaned. You can message our office at any time, and we can send photos after a visit when you ask for them.

What if I do not know the condition of the house?

That is common when you live far away. We can start with a regular standard cleaning at our standard rate and assess the home while we clean. Nobody needs to be there. We take photos on request and let you know what kind of cleaning and services the home needs.

My parent does not want help. What should I do?

Start small and keep them in charge. One visit, the rooms they choose, and the same friendly cleaner. Our office can speak with your parent directly, so they feel like the customer, not the project.

Who will our office contact?

Whoever you choose. We save the family contact and your parent’s contact separately, so the right person hears about scheduling, billing and updates.

Does Medicare pay for house cleaning?

Our cleaning is private pay. Original Medicare does not cover homemaker services such as cleaning that are unrelated to a care plan. Some Medicare Advantage plans offer in-home support, and Florida programs such as Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care and Community Care for the Elderly include homemaker services for people who qualify. Check with the plan or your local Area Agency on Aging.

Coverage sources: Medicare.gov: home health services; Florida Department of Elder Affairs: Community Care for the Elderly.

Peace of mind, from any distance.

One note to our office is all it takes to begin.
